Kenneth E. Aboussie Jr. is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Stonelake Capital Partners, a real estate private equity investment firm founded in Austin, Texas in 2007.  Stonelake has 50 professionals with offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston and primarily invests in and develops industrial warehouses and Class-A multifamily across 12 markets in the southern United States. Stonelake manages institutional capital for some of the country’s largest college endowments, hospital systems, public pension funds and institutional investors.  Over the last 17-years, Stonelake has raised $2.6 billion of equity across 8 discretionary private equity funds, and acquired or developed $4.5 billion in commercial real estate.

Mr. Aboussie directs major capital transactions for Stonelake and manages the firm’s Investment Committee. Stonelake owns, has acquired or developed 29.0 million square feet of industrial warehouses, 8,155 multifamily units and 3.3 million square feet of office. Prior to founding Stonelake, Mr. Aboussie was a Partner with Cypress Real Estate Advisors, a real estate private equity firm based in Austin, Texas. Prior to joining Cypress, Mr. Aboussie was a Summer Associate in New York with JP Morgan Chase & Co. in their real estate group. Mr. Aboussie received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University, and a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Aboussie serves on the Development Board Executive Committee for The University of Texas at Austin, the Dean’s Advisory Council for the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, the Executive Council for the University of Texas’ Real Estate Center and the Advisory Board for the Baylor Health Care System Foundation. Mr. Aboussie is also involved with (and a past-Board Member) of Mercy Street which provides sports programs and Christian mentorship to inner-city youth in Dallas. Mr. Aboussie, his wife Kamela, and their three children are members at Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
